Menus for a Simpler Week

I've learned that without a strict list of necessary ingredients, I tend to over-shop, over-purchase, and then, unfortunately, I end up with a fridge full of not-so-fresh food. I started planning out the weeks menu in advance - the ingredients that I would need, the prep work that needs to be done so that dinner is served at a reasonable time.

I try to ensure that we eat salad or some form of vegetable at every meal and I try to balance meat, chicken and fish, with a few vegetarian options here and there. I don't always have the time for all the meals that I plan and I simply add them to the next weeks menu.
